What Happened To Benjamin by Shirley Baldwin Waring
Trace kids hand three times on plain white paper. Cut out the hand prints.
(You can color them or leave them plain.) Form a cone shape with the heel
of the hand as the pointy part of the cone. Tape in place. Curl fingers to form
petals. Cut a yellow pipe cleaner in half and fold forming a tight U shape.
Curl the ends to form the stamens. Attach one end of a green pipe cleaner
to the middle of the yellow U. This is the stem. Pull through the hole at the
base of your paper flower cone. Tada! You are done flower one. Repeat.
Fasten the three flowers into a bouquet using another brightly colored pipe
cleaner. Finish it off by forming a bow.
